Each year, we visit the Nantahala River Gem Mine in Bryson City, NC, for gem mining. My son and I enjoy sifting through dirt to uncover gorgeous gemstones, sharing a cherished activity. The mine provides easy access to the process, guidance, and diverse gems, making it a memorable experience for us.
