Misaky: Unique Edible Crystal Treats from Japan

These edible crystal treats by Misaky taste as good as they look! I got to sample the beautiful mermaid themed box and thought they were almost too pretty to eat.

But in the name of research, I sampled every single one of these uniquely textured handcrafted sweets imbued with a wish for well-being.

Handcrafted Natural Crystal Sweets

Misaky offers a range of crystal treats with different themes, all beautifully packaged and ready for gift-giving. My mermaid themed box featured crystals made to look like a mermaid’s tail, a starfish, sea glass and green quartz.

They are slightly crunchy on the outside and chewy on the inside, each with a unique flavor combination- Melon and Cayenne Pepper, Bitter Orange and Guanabana and Pineapple and Calamansi to name just a few. I don’t even know what some of those things are!

The treats are vegan, gluten-free, additive-free and made from sustainable seaweed, as Misaky is committed to being environmentally responsible. Each piece is cut by hand and then the whole process takes a week to condense the flavor. The seaweed is high in dietary fiber and can help aid digestion.
