The ads for the Night Guide Pebbles show these glow-in-the-dark garden stones lighting up garden pathways, looking like big glowing rocks. What you actually get is very disappointing.

Night Guide Pebbles Review: Overpriced and Undersized
I love the look of the glow-in-the-dark garden stones, so I clicked on the Facebook ad for Night Guide Pebbles. The website was having a 50% sale, making the price $19.99, for what looks like a nice big bag of 200 glowing garden stones.

The videos on Facebook showed several scenes where these glowing pebbles looked like decently sized rocks.
One scene shows them lying on a garden path, and another scene shows them being poured into a pool. In real life, these little plastic pebbles would probably just clog your pool filter.
You can see my screenshots from the Facebook ad below.
The official description: Includes luminous large pebbles and small pebbles. Use as glowing garden stones, stepping stone fillers, rock gardens, or decorative gravel. Line your garden paths, steps, or driveway edges with these durable luminous stones to improve nighttime visibility and add elegant landscape lighting. Also great for terrariums, vases, and Halloween displays.
The truth: Includes only small pebbles. These are not going to help with any nighttime visibility unless you have a ton of them. Pretty much best used for an aquarium.

Glowing Pebbles Much Smaller in Real Life
My order took a couple weeks to arrive, and when it did, the package was smaller than my hand. I opened it up and found what looked like a mini version of the Night Guide Pebbles advertised online.
Each pebble was about the size of my fingernail, and they were made of lightweight plastic. These things would probably float away the first time it rained.
Plus, all 200 pieces could fit in my hand. It would take 100 bags or more to fill a garden path!
So, if you were hoping to light up your garden at night, these are a bust. Don’t be fooled by those Facebook ads that make them look really cool!
